Owings Mills Siblings Open Restaurant in City

Hersh's Pizza and Drinks opens this week in Riverside.

There's a new restaurant in Baltimore, and two Owings Mills natives are at the helm.

Hersh's Pizza and Drinks is now open in Riverside, The Baltimore Sun reported, taking over the space occupied by barbecue-themed Rub until it closed up in July.

Siblings Josh Hershkovitz and Stephanie Hershkovitz are owners of the new restaurant, which serves up neopolitan pizzas, small Italian dishes, craft beers and vintage cocktails, the restaurant's website said.

"We’re a couple of pizza-loving piglet siblings who love to feed people and liquor ‘em up as much as we love to eat and drink ourselves," says the "About Us" section of the website, which is signed by Josh and Stephanie.

The restaurant, at 1843-45 Light Street, is two stories. The first floor is a bar with some tables, and the second floor is the dining room, the restaurant's website said.
