Police ID Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Liberty Road

The motorcyclist fatally hit by two cars in Baltimore County was reportedly a bus driver for the MTA.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Police identified the driver who died Sunday night when he was thrown from his motorcycle on Liberty Road.

Henry Isaac Williams, 51, of the 7300 block of Maury Road in Windsor Mill, was headed west on Liberty Road when a passenger car turning left onto eastbound Liberty Road collided with his 2003 Suzuki motorcycle, officials said.

The 2014 Acura TL was turning left from Brubar Court onto Liberty Road at the time, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Williams was ejected and landed on Liberty Road, where he was hit by a 2016 Chevrolet Cruz, police said.

He was pronounced deceased, and the drivers of the two vehicles remained at the scene, according to officials.

Police anticipate the investigation into the crash will take several weeks.

Williams was an MTA bus driver who was beloved by his colleagues and friends, who are holding a vigil for him at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, in the area of Liberty Road at Brubar Court, according to WBAL.

Williams was the second MTA bus driver to be killed in the past week. Ebonee Baker, 33, died on Tuesday, Nov. 1, in a crash on Frederick Avenue when the bus she was driving was hit by a school bus.
