Randallstown Murder Under Investigation
Police said a Randallstown man was fatally shot while he and others were asleep.

RANDALLSTOWN, MD — A Randallstown man was killed in a shooting recently that police suspect was targeted. The victim was in his home when the suspect(s) broke inside and shot him several times, police said.
Monday Makonnen, 54, was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to officials. He was sleeping in his bedroom in the 3900 block of Nemo Road on Friday, Dec. 1, when he was shot, police reported.
Nobody else inside the home was harmed or threatened, according to authorities.

Officers were dispatched to the home after 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 1 when the other people in the home found Makonnen and called authorities.
