Reisterstown Duo At Door Were Not Burglars: Police
Investigators determined the couple and their dog were not committing a crime at a Reisterstown home, according to police.
REISTERSTOWN, MD — After releasing surveillance video taken by a home security camera at a residence in Reisterstown, police said two people suspected of burglarizing the home with their dog have been identified. The duo will not be charged, according to officials.
The case evolved from security video at the residence in the 2400 block of Long Ridge Road in Reisterstown. The time stamp on the video was 5:34 p.m. on Friday, March 15.
Police released the surveillance footage on Friday, April 19, in hopes of gaining information about the incident.

"Following an overwhelming response from the community, this couple was quickly identified,"the Baltimore County Police Department said in a statement on Tuesday, April 16.
Upon evaluating the circumstances, police reported that no charges would be filed.

"Once the subjects were identified and interviewed, along with further correspondence with the homeowner, it was determined that the crime of first-degree burglary was not committed," police said. "Thank you to all of our community members who helped us resolve this case so quickly."
