Search for Sex Assault Suspect Continues: Baltimore County Police

Since late July, officers with the Baltimore County Police Department say they have been searching for 24-year-old Tavon James Horton in connection with a sexual assault in Woodlawn.

Authorities reported that he was possibly seen in the 6200 block of Baltimore National Pike/Route 40 on Friday.

Police say they have an arrest warrant charging Horton with first-degree assault, first-degree sex offense and related charges connected to a July 25 sexual assault in the Milford Mill/Woodlawn area.

In that incident, police allege Horton met a woman online, arranged to meet in person for a walk and then sexually assaulted her at gunpoint near a field.

Officials say that Horton, of the 7900 block of Stowe Court in Milford Mill, should be considered armed and dangerous.
