Security Square Mall Closed Friday After Bomb Threat: Report

The mall on Security Boulevard was reportedly closed Friday afternoon.

Baltimore County, MD — Security Square Mall closed Friday afternoon due to an alleged bomb threat.

At 2:10 p.m., police responded to the mall in the 6900 block of Security Boulevard after a bomb threat was reported there, according to Fox 45.

Sources said the mall was evacuated during the response.

The Baltimore County Police Department searched the premises and did not find anything, but management made the call to close the mall for the remainder of the day, WJZ reported.

Security Square is generally open until 9 p.m. on Fridays.
