Shopping Center Demolition Continues Next Week

With the north end of the Reisterstown Shopping Center cleared of tenants, an excavator will start taking the building down next week.

As prepare to open in the , developers are working to demolish the vacant strip of the center as early as next week.

“[We’re doing] handwork to carefully disconnect the building from the building we’re keeping,” said Nate Raiber, director of development and acquisitions for Fedder Management Co., the shopping center’s operator.

Spaces in the shopping center’s vacant north strip will be cleared out with Bobcats this week, and a 60,000-pound excavator will begin to tear the building down next week, Raiber said.
