The Classic Catering People in Owings Mills Inspire Young Chefs at Summer Cooking Camp
While many children spend their summers traveling or at sports camp, some are busy becoming culinary experts. Cooking a multi-course meal big enough to feed a family of four is standard practice for kids enrolled in Cooking Camp Classic. Over the course of five weeks each summer, Classic Catering People Chef Therese Harding guides aspiring chefs ages five to 16 to prepare a different themed menu each class. Parents are welcome to watch as the youngest chefs learn to make impressive dishes like mango sticky rice, Italian corn, vegetable dumplings and banana spring rolls. Campers not only get to take home each meal they prepare but also dine with their fellow chefs at a dinner buffet and receive a camp t-shirt for participating.
