The Harbour School Volunteers at Meals on Wheels

Students at The Harbour School in Owings Mills volunteered at Meals on Wheels as part of their ongoing quest to find "Solutions in Hunger."  Siri Wenrich, a Harbour School teacher, has taken high school students to Meals on Wheels on two separate occasions. Together, they helped prepare over 400 pounds of food. Their efforts have been so successful that they are now going to make this a regular trip and bring a volunteer group over at least once a month in the 2014-2015 school year.

The Harbour School is a nonpublic school serving students ages 6-21.  Students at the school have been diagnosed as having learning disabilities, high functioning autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, other health impaired (primarily ADHD) and multi-disabled
