Tonight at New Town High: County Redistricting Hearing No. 2
New Town High plays host tonight to the second of three public hearings, scheduled by Baltimore County's redistricting committee.
Residents will have a chance to speak their mind tonight about how the lines throughout Owings Mills, Reisterstown and the rest of the county should be redrawn.Β

Owings Mills is represented in districts 2 and 4 by Democrat Vicki Almond and Democrat Ken Oliver, respectively.Β
Reisterstown is split into three districts, 2, 3 and 4, with Republican Todd Huff representing Main Street and the Glyndon community in the third.Β

The third and final committee hearing is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday at in Dundalk. The first hearing took place Tuesday at the in Towson.
Council officials have saidΒ they expect the commission to finish its recommendation by June.Β
