From Groupons to Chewpons, new deal sites bring big bargains to the web.

Most people are already familiar with Groupon, LivingSocial, and Chewpons, but recently, a few new deals sites have popped up to satisfy everyone’s love for a bargain.
The newest addition to the local deal world is DealsForDeeds, which began in Washington and is starting to offer a few deals in this area. DealsForDeeds promises that at least 5 percent of each deal will be donated to the Baltimore Community Fund, which includes 12 local non-profits.
CityCents launched in Baltimore in early May and, in addition to its daily deals, the Edgewater-based company also has an auction feature for gift cards and various gadgets.

If you work or play in and around the nation’s capital, make sure you sign up to receive deals for that region as well. The Capitol Deal, operated by The Washington Post, is another good source in Washington.
