World Peace Gardens to Celebrate Grand Opening

Kadampa Meditation Center World Peace Gardens are for everyone to enjoy.

Join us for the Grand Opening on Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.! From late August through September 2015, three rain gardens were installed around the temple, funded by a generous grant from the Chesapeake Bay Trust.

With the help of many volunteers and other organizations, we have also planted a variety of native plants and created a meditation garden, lavender garden and orchard. These gardens are improving the health of the environment and create a more lush and beautiful atmosphere at the temple. The gardens are complete, it's spring, and we would love for you to celebrate with us at the grand opening! There will be light refreshments, garden tours, temple tours and outdoor music.
