2 Shot And Injured In Parkville: Police

Police said a man and woman were shot in Parkville Friday night, and the suspect is at large.

PARKVILLE, MD — Police said two people were shot and injured in Parkville Friday night. The victims were believed to have been targeted.

At 9:04 p.m., officials were called to the 8600 block of Wendell Avenue for a report of a shooting.

A man was shot in the lower body, and a woman was shot in the upper body, police said, adding that both are expected to survive their injuries.

The suspect left the scene before police arrived, according to authorities.

Based on the initial investigation, police reported the attack seemed to have been targeted.
