Animal Cruelty: Woman Finds 'Bludgeoned' Cat In Parkville Alley
A Parkville woman is calling for justice after finding a cat in an alley, apparently killed with a large brick.

PARKVILLE, MD — A Parkville woman found a cat that had been "bludgeoned to death" in a Hillendale alley, according to reports. Carolyn Carr said she wants justice after finding the cat around 11:45 a.m. Thursday in the alley between Linkside Drive and Morrislea Court, WBFF reports.
"I saw a brick in a paper bag next to the cat, and it was obvious that he or she had been bludgeoned to death," Carr said in a Facebook post, according to WBFF. "The brick was a scalloped landscaping edging, so it was much larger than a normal brick. There was brick debris crushed below the cat's head, and an indentation in his or her body where he or she had been smashed."
Carr said the cat's death was "absolutely" a premeditated murder. She spoke on Facebook of her toddler daughter's reaction to seeing the cat.
