Baltimore County Officials Talk Estate Planning With Oak Crest Residents

Estate planning, probate process among topics discussed

Parkville, MD—Two Baltimore County officials provided residents of Oak Crest, the Erickson Living retirement community, with an overview of estate planning and the probate process at a seminar on November 5.

Grace Connolly, Register of Wills, and William Evans, Chief Judge of the Orphans Court, discussed issues involving the creation of wills and the legal responsibilities and protections offered in Maryland to clients, heirs and creditors.

They also took questions from the ninety-five (95) residents in attendance. The event was hosted by the Philanthropy and Public Affairs Departments of Oak Crest. Steve Bailey, a Towson-based attorney specializing in elder law and estate planning, was also in attendance.
