Baltimore County Police: Crash On Liberty Road Under Investigation

During the evening hours of Monday, November 1, a 2008 Lincoln MKZ and 2018 Honda Accord collided on Liberty Road just west of Courtleigh Drive. A preliminary investigation shows the driver of the 2008 Lincoln MKZ was attempting to make a left-hand turn, onto eastbound Liberty Road. The Honda Accord was traveling westbound at the time. When the two vehicles collided, 34-year-old Brandon Whalen sustained fatal injuries. Whalen, who was driving the 2008 Lincoln MKZ, was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced deceased. The other driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. This case remains under investigation.
