Baltimore County Police: Police Investigate Fatal Crash In Owings Mills

42-year-old Nyeasha Renee Townsend of Samantha Court, 21117, died in a car crash in Owings Mills on Friday.

Just before 9:00 p.m., Townsend was driving a 2010 Mercedes GLK350 southbound on Owings Mills Boulevard, just south of Crondall Lane. A 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 was in the northbound lane at the time.

A preliminary investigation indicates the Mercedes and Ram collided when both crossed lanes and struck each other head on. 

Townsend, the driver of the Mercedes, was pronounced deceased on the scene. The driver and passenger of the Dodge Ram suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital. 

Members of the Baltimore County Police Department’s Crash Investigation Team are continuing their work to determine if other factors were involved in this fatal collision.
