Baltimore County Police: Two Baltimore City Warrant Apprehension Task Force Officers Shot; Suspect Deceased

The suspect suffered at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased.

Just after 8 a.m. on July 13, Baltimore County police officers responded to the 6900 block of Security Boulevard after receiving calls that two U.S. Marshals had been shot. Upon arriving on scene, the injured officers were located suffering from gunshot wounds and later transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The officers have been identified as Baltimore City officers with the Warrant Apprehension Task Force.

This investigation remains active and open. The Baltimore Police Department will be holding a news conference at W. Lombard Street and Penn Street in Baltimore City. Baltimore County Homicide detectives remain outside Security Square Mall as the investigation continues.
