Baseball Bat Assault Sends Boy To Hospital In Rosedale
The suspect who assaulted a 14-year-old with a baseball bat is at large, Baltimore County police report.

ROSEDALE, MD — A 14-year-old boy is in serious condition after he was assaulted with a baseball bat outside his home, police said. The assault occurred on Wednesday afternoon.
After 1 p.m., police said the 14-year-old was coming home from school with a relative when he got out of a vehicle and was approached by someone who hit him several times with a baseball bat. The attack happened in the 4700 block of Stellabrooke Lane, according to authorities.
The suspect ran away after the assault, and the victim was taken to a local hospital. The boy was in serious condition as of Thursday afternoon, according to officials.
