Time to get crafty for Dad. Bottle cap magnets are easy and very addictive. First things first, what image do you want? After you choose your image your ready to start. You can use books, photos, magazines, or print from the internet.
1. The image needs to be 1 inch round. You can either hand cut or use a paper punch. I use fiskars medium circle punch.
2.Glue your image into the bottle cap with any glue that sticks to metal, tacky glue works good. Craft stores have lots of glue, make sure you check the package to see if it says metal.

3. You image needs to be sealed with epoxy. You can use 1 inch epoxy stickers or mod podge, both sold at craft stores. Hint, mod podge is also puzzle glue. If using the epoxy sticker, very carefully stick to your image. If using mod podge/puzzle glue, just paint a small layer over your image. It will take a few hours for this to dry.
4. Attach a magnet to the back. If gluing your magnet use superglue. I use the magnet strips at the craft store that are peel and stick.

5. give to Dad
A really cool personal idea is to use a photo of you and Dad, find one small enough to cut into a 1 inch circle.
