Children's Guild's Steve Baldwin Receives Executive Management Award
Steve Baldwin serves as executive vice president and chief financial officer of The Children's Guild.

BALTIMORE—Steve Baldwin, executive vice president and chief financial officer of The Children’s Guild, received a 2016 Executive Management Award from SmartCEO magazine. The award recognizes leaders who work behind the scenes to build companies in the region.
Baldwin was recognized for finding creative ways to finance growth, while maintaining integrity and efficiency. He restructured The Children’s Guild’s staffing model and created reductions in indirect support services to improve cash flow and allow the organization to expand by opening charter schools.
As executive vice president and CFO of The Children’s Guild, Baldwin oversees administrative services, facilities management, human resources and information technology. He also serves as treasurer of The National Children’s Guild Fund and Monarch Academy Public Charter Schools.

Baldwin joined The Children’s Guild in 2002 as vice president of finance and CFO and has been in his current position for the past six years. Previously, he was CFO for Prince Telecom Holdings where he also managed IT and human resources. Baldwin served as vice president of finance for Wilmac Corporation, directing financial operations and managing acquisition and development. Baldwin previously held positions of controller at Herr Foods and chief internal auditor for Perdue.
Baldwin is a certified public accountant and earned his MBA from Wilmington College and his Bachelor of Science in accounting magna cum laude from Towson University in Maryland.
