Cousin Charged in Parkville Homicide

Police said that a man staged a burglary to make it look like someone else murdered his cousin in her Parkville home.

Parkville, MD — An out-of-state man is charged with murder in the death of his cousin, who was found dead in her Parkville home last week, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

John Robert Malko, 72, of Salt Lake City, is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the July 12 death.

Malko reportedly told police that he had left the residence and when he came back, a break-in had occurred.
