In conjunction with the Sandusky Group, Destinations’ management and staff established its Core 4™ values: Passion, Respect (Mutual), Exceeding Expectations and Forward Thinking/Visionary – PREF.
The award was established to honor an employee each quarter who best exemplifies those values – its “ACE” of PREF. All employees were invited to nominate any other employee and a committee of staff representing all departments scored the nominees.

The award itself is a crystal lighthouse, reminiscent of one of Gerry Sandusky’s favorite sayings, “Be the lighthouse, not the courthouse.” In addition, the award recipient receives extra employee perks throughout the quarter.
“Angela has been an anchor at Destinations Credit Union for many years.” stated Brian Vittek, CEO of Destinations. “She is a long-time favorite of the members and demonstrates her commitment to them every day.”
