2 Hospitalized From Fire Near Overlea: Officials
Firefighters are battling a blaze Friday afternoon near Overlea, Baltimore County fire officials report.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Two people were hospitalized after a fire Friday afternoon near Overlea, officials said. Firefighters were at the scene battling the blaze before 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1.
Crews were dispatched to the 4300 block of Belmar Avenue at 3:03 p.m., officials reported.
In addition to a working fire, authorities said firefighters found a rescue was required.

One person was taken with critical injuries to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, while another was taken to MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening, authorities reported after 4 p.m.
