Firefighters Give First Aid To Dog In Parkville
First responders from Perry Hall, Fullerton and Hillendale helped save a dog from a house fire thanks to special equipment, officials said.
PARKVILLE, MD — Authorities said a dog received first aid Monday when firefighters were called to a house fire in Parkville.
Crews from Perry Hall, Hillendale and Fullerton found a dog hiding under a bed while searching the home on Alden Road, officials reported.
"They were able to administer oxygen using one of the pet devices recently donated to the department and the dog is doing well," Baltimore County public safety officials said in a statement.

Invisible Fence donated a pet oxygen mask kit to every fire station in Baltimore County last year. The kits cost nearly $3,500 and allow firefighters to give animals oxygen in emergencies.
