Nearly 100 local residents came out to support Christian Miele last night at Red Brick Station on The Avenue in White Marsh as he officially kicked off his campaign for the Maryland House of Delegates. Miele, 32, is running in the Eighth Legislative District, which is home to the Parkville, Perry Hall, White Marsh, Rosedale, Overlea, Carney, and Fullerton communities.
โRed Brick was the natural choice for our kick-off event,โ said Miele, who years ago waited tables at the local restaurant and brew pub. โI think itโs important for usย to support and put the spotlight onย local businesses. The great food doesn't hurt either."
In addition to family and friends, Miele was joined last night by three sitting members of the Maryland General Assembly โ House Minority Leader Nic Kipke (District 31), House Minority Whip Kathy Szeliga (District 7), and State Delegate John Cluster (District 8).ย Dan Bongino, Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in the 6th Congressional District, was also there to show his support for Miele.
