• DNA leads to convictions in 2 rapes in Baltimore County from the 1980s (thebanner.com) — A 73-year-old Parkville man has been convicted in Baltimore County Circuit Court of raping and sexually assaulting two women in Cockeysville in the 1980s, after DNA evidence linked him to the crimes. The long-unsolved attacks, preserved through decades-old medical slides, were finally resolved this week, and sentencing is expected soon as prosecutors weigh a remaining related case.
