Police ID Parkville Homicide Victim

PARKVILLE, MD — A man was fatally shot near Taylor Avenue Saturday night, and police said the suspect remains at large. Homicide investigators are continuing to work on identifying a motive.

Diamond Reyshann Arca-Jones, 19, of the 7800 block of Beverly Avenue, was lying in the road with a gunshot wound in the 7800 block of Beverly Avenue near Taylor Avenue when authorities arrived, police said.

Officers found him around 7:20 p.m. while responding to a call for shots fired in the area.

Arca-Jones was taken to a local hospital, where police said he later died.

Before officers got to the scene, the suspect left the area.

Anyone with information about the deadly shooting is asked to call the Baltimore County Police Department's homicide unit at 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous.
