Sanders' Corner Up For Auction
The mainstay restaurant on Loch Raven Drive has undergone economic difficulty, and after a hearing to extend the liquor license will go up for auction on Wednesday.
After being closed since March, Sanders' Corner will finally go up for auction on Aug. 17 as a result of financial hardship.
The restaurant's owner and sole member of Reservoir Restaurant LLC, John Naudain Jr., appeared before the Baltimore County liquor board on Monday afternoon to ask for a 180-day extension on the renewal of the liquor license for Sanders' Corner.
In a letter to the liquor board, Naudain wrote:

I am writing this financial hardship letter to you asking for a 180-day extension on my Liquor License renewal. The Restaurant is for sale and I have a contract coming. Thank you for your help in this situation.
Naudain was granted the extension and, according to a notification of disposition of collateral released by the liquor board, the restaurant/bar fixtures, equipment and seven-day beer, wine and liquor license will be auctioned to the public on Aug. 17.

The auction is open to the public and will be held at the restaurant, 2260 Cromwell Bridge Road, at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 17.
