Rosedale Murder Leads Police To Second Body: Police
Ryan Michael McGuire killed two women, including his stepmother, then drove their cars and sold their things to buy drugs, police said.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A man has been charged in two murders after a woman found was found dead in her Rosedale home this week. Her death led police to the discovery of another body.
The two victims lived nearby one another, and police believe the second victim had been asking questions about where her neighbor was, prompting the killer to murder her as well.
Ryan Michael McGuire, 32, of no fixed address, has been charged with two counts of first and second-degree murder.

According to police, McGuire had recently been staying with his stepmother in the 7900 block of Roseland Avenue in Rosedale. Her body was found hidden in a cedar chest in her home after McGuire was arrested, police reported.
Judy Elizabeth Slezbak, 66, was killed on May 20, based on the murder charges filed against her stepson.

Officials allege McGuire killed her, then used her vehicle to sell some of her belongings so he could buy illegal drugs.
When the neighbor who lived across the street — Cindy Berdina Testerman— started asking about where Slezbak was, police said he murdered her on June 23.
The medical examiner ruled Testerman's death homicide by trauma inflicted with an edged weapon.
After killing Testerman, police said McGuire stole some items from her home, including her vehicle, and sold them for money to buy more drugs.
Police said that McGuire admitted to his involvement in both women's deaths.
Surveillance video connected him to the death of Testerman, officials said, who was found Sunday night in her home.
McGuire is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
