Woman Dies After Double Shooting: Baltimore Co. Police

Police said that a man and woman were hospitalized after a shooting Thursday morning near Rosedale, and the woman died the next day.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Officials said that a woman died after being shot in Rosedale, and a man suffered injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. A suspect has not been identified in the double shooting.

Police officers said they were dispatched to a shooting in the 8800 block of Fontana Lane and found a woman shot in the midsection and a man shot in the hand after 1 a.m. on Thursday, May 16.

The woman was hospitalized with critical injuries from multiple gunshot wounds, police reported.

Kitera Alishia Bishop, 23, of the 8800 block of Fontana Lane, died on Friday, May 17, after being shot multiple times in the upper body.

A 26-year-old man was hospitalized with a single gunshot wound to the hand, according to officials.
