5-Acre Field Fire Broke Out Near Gunpowder: Officials
Crews from Baltimore, Harford counties worked Sunday to contain the blaze.

First responders spent hours Sunday afternoon working to extinguish 5 acres of woods that were on fire, officials said.
The blaze started near Reckord Road at Belair Road and extended into Gunpowder Falls State Park, the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company reported.
Crews were at the scene from approximately 3 to 5:30 p.m., according to the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.

Kingsville, Fallston, Joppa-Magnolia, Bel Air and Whiteford were reportedly among the fire companies that worked at the scene.
Reckord Road was shut down between Belair Road and Whitt Road during the firefighting operations, and the Department of Natural Resources was reportedly investigating the incident.

Kingsville crews also responded to a field fire at Gunpowder on March 31.
