Accident Brings I-95 to Standstill Between Fallston, White Marsh

UPDATE (1:48 p.m.)—A single-vehicle accident closed three of four southbound lanes on Interstate 95 near the Harford and Baltimore county line, the Maryland Department of Transportation reported. 

The accident, near the Mountain Road exit, was reported shortly after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. Traffic was halted between Fallston and White Marsh shortly before 1 p.m.

At least one lane was reopened by 1:30 p.m. The accident appeared to have been caused by an overturned tractor-trailer.
