ESSEX, MD — Deandre Neal, a 22-year-old Rosedale man, is facing two murder charges in connection with a deadly double shooting that took place in Essex last week.
The Baltimore County Police Department identified the man Tuesday, a day after revealing that a 22-year-old man was in custody for the shooting.
Court records show Neal is facing two felony counts of first-degree murder. He remains held without bond and is scheduled to appear for a bail review on Tuesday.
The latest comes after the two individuals fatally shot in Essex were identified as Donielle Mack and Izick Aminartey. Both were 19 years old.

Authorities said Aminartey died at the scene, and that Mack was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.
Aminartey's mother told CBS Baltimore that the man had turned himself in with a family member, adding at the time that she intended to be present for Neal's Tuesday court hearing.
"I'm just glad that he did do the right thing and I can have some face to put to this madness," she told the outlet. "I will be coming to court because I would like to speak with him face to face."
The Aug. 10 shooting took place on Banyan Wood Court, where police were called around 11:30 a.m. for an initial report of a car crash. Aminartey and Mack were both inside the vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds.
The incident occurred the same day that a separate shooting was reported nearly 30 minutes later on the unit block of Bladen Road in Essex, just over a mile away. Investigators have said the shootings are not related.
