Armed Robbery Attempt At Dollar General: Perry Hall Crime
Police said a burglar was caught in the act near Perry Hall, the plans of an armed robber were derailed and more.

PERRY HALL, MD — The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents in and around Perry Hall. In the past week, police said there were three burglaries and an armed robbery attempt.
A burglary suspect was arrested on June 26. The burglar went into a house in the unit block of Belhaven Drive and was confronted by the residents. The suspect ran into the woods behind the residence. Witnesses chased the person, and the suspect was taken into custody. The burglary occurred at 3:45 p.m. on June 26.
There was an attempted armed robbery at Dollar General in the 8700 block of Belair Road. The suspect ordered the clerk to open the safe, but she did not have access. When she told the would-be robber this, the suspect left, and nothing was taken. The robbery attempt took place at 10 p.m. on June 25.

A pocket knife was stolen from a porch in the 13000 block of Fork Road. The burglary was reported between 2 p.m. on June 23 and noon on June 24.
A residence was ransacked in the 4300 block of Four Mill Road. The burglar got in through a side window, then stole money and jewelry. The burglary happened between 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on June 20.
