Baltimore County Animal Services Waives Adoption Fees on Saturday
Baltimore County is participating in a national 'Clear the Shelters' initiative to increase animal adoptions.

BALDWIN, MD — Baltimore County Animal Services will waive adoption fees on Saturday, July 23, as part of a national campaign to bolster adoptions at animal shelters.
The "Clear the Shelters" program resulted in more than 19,000 pet adoptions last year, according to NBC, which began sponsoring the initiative in 2015 to help during what is typically a busy season.
Baltimore County also waived fees in June for cats and kittens for the "Baltimore 500," a challenge in which shelters in the Baltimore metro area worked to save the lives of 500 felines by adopting them out for free.
