Nottingham Woman Dies After Baltimore Co. Tractor-Trailer Crash
The fatal crash took place on the northbound lanes of Interstate 95, near the 62.3 mile marker.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A woman was killed Friday in a tractor-trailer crash that took place on Interstate 95.
Maryland State Police identified the woman as 34-year-old Francesca Lloyd, who was a passenger in a Subaru Outback driven by 41-year-old Gregory Lloyd.
Both individuals are from Nottingham and are believed to be married. Gregory remains hospitalized.

No other injuries were reported.

The crash unfolded, according to investigators, when the Subaru hit the rear of the tractor-trailer, which had been attempting to get onto the right shoulder after experiencing a flat tire.
Investigators believe impairment may have contributed to the crash.
An investigation into the crash remains ongoing, with possible charges pending its outcome.
