Baltimore County Drive-In Theater To Host Fireworks Show This Month

MIDDLE RIVER, MD — The Bengies Drive-In Theatre in Middle River will mark its 70th anniversary this month with a fireworks display.

Organizers say the event takes place Saturday, Aug. 15, at 3417 Eastern Blvd. It will be followed by a screening of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day."

No set time for the showing has been released as of yet, although the box office can open as early as 6:30 p.m.

"This is the grand finale of our 70th Anniversary celebration, and we expect it to be one of the busiest nights of the season," reads an announcement.

Residents interested in attending the festivities are urged to arrive early to secure a parking spot closest to the screen. No entries will be allowed after the box office closes.

Visitors new to the drive-in are urged to review the theater's list of rules, which include no outside drinks or beverages without a permit and car light requirements.

Only cash and Bengies gift cards are accepted at the box office.

The fireworks and movie showing make up part of Bengies' "The Seven Decade Series."
