Reopened Cake & Wedding Cottage Prepped for Easter
The shop moved three miles south from Perry Hall Crossing Shopping Center to Belair Beltway Plaza last month.
Easter is a major candy holiday, and for the first time in 36 years, customers are traveling a few extra miles south for their supplies.
The shop moved from 8716 Belair Rd. at Perry Hall Crossing Shopping Center to 7670 Belair Rd. at Belair Beltway Plaza last month, and held its grand reopening on March 24.
Customers have adjusted well to the change, according to owner Tammy Mansberger.

"We had a line waiting for us to open on Saturday and we were just so excited to get our doors open again," Mansberger wrote in an email to Patch.
The store, open seven days a week, is stocked full of candy-making supplies, including fresh Mercken's chocolate wafers and candy centers. New classes on basic cake decorating, fondant and cupcake decorating are also forming, Mansberger stated.
