Chainsaw Carver, Grand Opening at Perry Hall Square Saturday
Ace Hardware and Salvo Auto Parts have both planned Saturday events.
Expect a flurry of activity at Perry Hall Square Shopping Center, at the corner of Belair and Ebenezer roads, on Saturday.
Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Oct. 6, Ace Hardware is hosting a STIHL Demo Day. World-renowned chainsaw carver and Perry Hall High graduate Jim Calder plans to carve two four-foot stumps, donated by Mill Lumber Yard in Fallston. The finished sculptures will be donated to Perry Hall Middle School. Calder will also teach kids how to carve sweet potatoes.
Equipment demos, discounts on STIHL items and food will also be available throughout the event.
