Baltimore County Councilman David Marks

I've known Buddy Butt for 20 years. He is one of Perry Hall's biggest boosters, and truly one of the two or three most important people in Perry Hall's history over the past half-century. He helped create the Perry Hall Improvement Association and led the effort for a new library in 1963. He farmed Perry Hall for decades and never forgot his roots. He is a local treasure and a wonderful friend.

I may be a county councilman from Perry Hall, but Buddy Butt is Perry Hall's mayor.

Perry Hall Improvement Association President Dennis M. Robinson, Jr.

Buddy is a Perry Hall institution. It is impossible to overstate the contributions he has made to the community. He is the only living founder of the Perry Hall Improvement Association, a small business owner, and, most importantly, a quintessential gentlemen. I am honored to follow in his footsteps as a president of the Perry Hall Improvement Association. The entire community owes Buddy a debt of gratitude for the quality of life we enjoy as residents of Perry Hall today. I wish Buddy a happy 90th birthday and many more years of health and happiness.

Pastor John A. Mohan of

Buddy is very involved in the church, from performing on his accordion, to reading lessons to singing in the choir. As pastor for the past eight years, it's always been a lot of fun being around Buddy. He is a great supporter of the community and committed to his family, friends and congregation. He is a dear, sweet man.
