Person Hospitalized After Nottingham Shooting: Police

NOTTINGHAM, MD — One person was hospitalized late Monday after a shooting was reported in the Nottingham area, police said.

Baltimore County Police said in an X post shortly before 5:30 p.m. Monday that officers were alerted to a shooting at the 8000 block of Belair Road.

At the scene, an unidentified person was found and subsequently hospitalized.

Authorities have not detailed the extent of the injuries, the identity of the individual, or a possible motive in the shooting.

Additional details, according to officials, will be released once the department has"more information" about the incident.

An investigation remains ongoing.
