WHITE MARSH, MD — Traffic was temporarily detoured on part of US 40 Friday morning after a crash in White Marsh. Two vehicles collided at approximately 5:30 a.m., resulting in the shutdown of westbound Route 40, according to state transportation officials.US 40 west was closed between MD 43 and Reames Road for several hours. By 10 a.m. it had reopened.
