Dave Fiore (Rullan-Fiore), 39, passed away suddenly on Jan. 31, 2017, after a brief but severe illness. He was born Oct. 26, 1977, to Camille Alicia Fiore (nee Hanson) and Fred David Rullan (deceased) in Queens, New York. When he was four, his mother Camille remarried and Dave was then adopted by Nicholas Fiore. He spent most of the early years of his life in Pennsylvania before moving with his family to the Baltimore area.
Dave was a personal trainer at Merritt Club in White Marsh, where he was beloved by members and coworkers alike. He was an avid snowboarder and softball player and pitched many of his teams to championship trophies. Dave was also in his final semester of the Massage Therapy program at CCBC Essex.

Dave was a truly remarkable person. He had a way of making people feel special and was kind and generous to all. Dave was affectionately known as the “baby whisperer” and was drawn to children of all ages. He was an expert cuddler and gave the most warm and comforting hugs. He was well known for his creative drinks, his spontaneous backrubs and his kind and beautiful smile. In early 2012, Dave was able to reconnect with the Rullan family, who welcomed him and celebrated him with opened arms. Above all, Dave was most proud of his daughter, Emma, who is a freshman at Mt. St. Mary’s. It was his dream for her to attend a four-year university, and he worked diligently to support her as she worked toward that goal.
Dave is survived by his beautiful daughter, Emma Simone, 18; his parents, Nicholas and Camille Fiore; his sisters, Nicole Fiore and Angela Fiore; his closest friend and companion, Kris Baydalla Galasso; the Galasso children, Rosalie (10), RJ (8), Angelina (6) and Nicolas (6 months). Dave is also survived by many members of the extended Rullan, Hanson and Fiore families. Dave also leaves behind an extensive “Framily,” including Jennifer Wolfe Hartman, Peter Berry, Anne Berry and the Berry children, Erin and Dylan, with whom he spent much of his time. He touched many and will be greatly missed by all.
