Death Outside White Marsh Mall Prompts Police, Hazmat Response

BREAKING: Police said one person was found deceased outside White Marsh Mall.

WHITE MARSH, MD -- Police said a person has been found deceased Tuesday outside White Marsh Mall. The death was ruled a suicide, Baltimore County police told Patch.

Officials responded to White Marsh Mall on Perry Hall Boulevard around 9:40 a.m. for a report of a body in a vehicle outside JCPenney, according to public information specialist Kevin Gay.

Initially, Gay said a hazmat team was called to the scene because gas may have been involved. He said it was unknown as of 1:15 p.m. whether police remained in the area for the investigation.
