Delegate Eric Bromwell Chosen for National Opioid Program

Bromwell was among 20 legislators selected from across the United States to share ideas in fighting the opioid crisis.

Delegate Eric Bromwell has been selected as one of 20 legislators nationwide to attend the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) Opioid Policy Fellows Program. The program is designed to support legislators who are, “emerging leaders on opioid addiction and overdose issues,” according to NCSL.

"The program is a welcomed opportunity to connect with leading researchers and policy experts, take information back to our various states, and develop state action plans to confront the opioid epidemic. Clearly, Maryland must do more to combat this horrible crisis. The program will also provide a chance meet with other legislative leaders and exchange ideas and solutions to opioid misuse and overdose related issues," said Bromwell.

Delegate Bromwell will be attending the program at zero cost to Maryland taxpayers.
