El Salto Signs Lease In Perry Hall: Councilman

PERRY HALL, MD — Renovations are coming soon to the Perry Hall Square Shopping Center. So is a new restaurant, according to Baltimore County Councilman David Marks.

At least $2 million in upgrades are planned at the 55-year-old shopping center, said Marks, who reported it was the oldest shopping center in Perry Hall.

"I can also confirm that El Salto restaurant has signed a lease to occupy space at the shopping center, one of several new tenants expected..." Marks said.

El Salto is a popular Mexican restaurant with two other locations, one off Waltham Woods Road in Parkville and another on Ritchie Highway near Brooklyn.

The shopping center has benefited in recent years from a business revitalization district designation that Marks championed in 2011.

"I am delighted by the upcoming improvements at Perry Hall Square, the first renovations since the early 1990s," Marks said.
