Elected Officials Celebrate New Rosedale Federal Facility
State and county political leaders delivered speeches during the Tuesday morning ribbon-cutting.
Baltimore County Councilman David Marks called the new corporate headquarters of the "one of the prettiest buildings in Perry Hall."
Marks added, during the facility's , that it would "add a touch of class to the Belair Road corridor."
He wasn't the only elected official with high praise for the historic bank.

State Sen. Kathy Klausmeier proclaimed the facility "something good in the neighborhood."
Larry Simmons, a representative for County Executive Kevin Kamenetz, said the company was "making an important investment in the future of Baltimore County."

State Del. Joe Boteler said it was "important in our community and in our economy, too." State Del. John Cluster added that it was a source of "great, great pride."
Officials lauded the bank's 100-year tradition of stability and community lending, as well as its history of local charitable donations, ranging from the to the to the .
Rosedale Federal's dedication was followed by a tour of the bank's new environmentally friendly facility, built to LEED Gold specifications.
