Fatal Shooting At Eagles Walk Apartments Under Investigation

Police said one person was shot and killed when he arrived home Saturday night at his apartment complex near Rossville.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting at the Eagles Walk Apartments. The suspect remains at large, according to police.

Officers were called to the unit block of Leatherwood Place for a shooting after 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 16.

Lamont Taylor, 33, was arriving home in the unit block of Leatherwood Place when the suspect approached and shot him, police said.

Taylor was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where police said he was pronounced deceased.

Investigators are still looking for the suspect, who left the scene, and they are investigating the circumstances around the shooting.
