Got Hazardous Waste? Take it to White Marsh
County government officials suggest taking hazardous materials to the Eastern Sanitary Landfill.

While spring cleaning, you may be tempted to simply throw old paint cans and cleaning chemicals into the trash.
Resist the urge, say Baltimore County officials.
Paints, motor oil, antifreeze, gasoline, cleaning solvents, pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, swimming pool chemicals, rechargeable batteries, mercury thermometers, fluorescent light bulbs, fireworks, ammunition and other household hazardous wastes could harm the environment if not disposed of properly, according to a recent press release.
